Funeral Booking
COVID-19 / CORONAVIRUS - Recommendations for Funeral Procedures

These recommendations should be followed for all funerals, regardless of the cause of death or the region where the death occurred:

1) We advise that the after the contracting of the funeral service the planning afterwards should take place in the offices of the funeral agency with a pre-defined date and time, and a maximum of two family members should take part;

2) We advise that all the bureaucratic procedure be carried out at a distance, between the family and the undertaker and between the undertaker and the public services;

3) We advise against holding religious ceremonies with the agglomeration of several people in a small space, opting only for the presence of the celebrant (if available) near the grave or crematorium;

4) We advise not to hold a public wake and that the funeral is held directly from the place of death to the desired cemetery, which should be as close as possible to the place of death;

5) We advise the mandatory use of personal protective equipment, according to the limitations imposed by the DGS;

We ask for the greatest understanding for the unique moment in our history that we are living and that requires temporary exceptional measures of safeguarding.
